Steamboat Natchez Cruise

http://www.steamboatnatchez.com/

The tour was a lot of fun, and very informative.  There is a buffet option, and a great bar.  Be sure to try out the Category 4 Hurricane!  The engine room is also a cool thing to check out.  We met a really cool father/daughter team that is from Germany (Jens & Saskia).  They rented Harley's in Florida, and were touring the South.  I'm now Facebook friends with them, and follow their adventures.

Vilalobos Rescue Center

http://www.vrcpitbull.com/

We absolutely had to stop here.  We rescued our pitbull Huckleberry from a bleak future in New Jersey.  We had just lost our Beagle Holly the month prior to a road trip.  She dug under the fence, and was hit by a car.

Bourbon Street

http://www.neworleansonline.com/tools/streets/bourbonstreet.html

Bourbon Street, a show within a show!  Lots of live music that you can enjoy from the street, and plenty of places to eat.  We explored Bourbon street during the daylight hours with our kids.  It was very tame.  We crossed over Bourbon Street at night while on a walking ghost tour, and the place was a madhouse of drunks and police.  Stick to daylight tours of the famous street!

Atlanta Georgia

The Coke Museum

https://www.worldofcoca-cola.com/

A very cool stop indeed, and free soda!  After the tour, you get to sample most of Coke's fountain drinks from around the world.  I'm not going to lie, most of them are gross to my Americanized taste-buds.

Pearlington Mississippi

Infinity Science Center

http://www.visitinfinity.com/visit/hours-admission/

Get your science on in this out-of-this-world fun center.  Everything is hands on, and the kids had a blast.  If you are an American citizen, you can take the 45 minute bus tour from the Infinity Center to the Stennis Space Center just down the road.

Savannah Sightseeing Tours

What better way to get the lay of the land than by a narrated trolly tour.

Old City Helicopter Tour

Not something I would have splurged on normally, but Rachel insisted!  Maybe she was hoping for a life insurance payout? Naw, the boys were with me (she stayed on terra firma with Huckleberry).

It was really cool to buzz along the river and bet a narrated tour.

The Distillery Ale House

http://distilleryalehouse.com/

Of course we had to check out some local brews!  This place had top notch chow, and an incredible rendition of a Moon Pie.  We've never had a moon pie before this.  It was incredible!

Massie Heritage Center

http://internet.savannah.chatham.k12.ga.us/schools/massie/default.aspx

Well, we are teachers, so you know we have to lump some learning into our excursions.  The boys had a great time with the costumes (and I may have partaken).

Charleston South Carolina

Rainbow Row

Really, just a drive by with a pop out for a picture.  By chance, just before we left for our trip, we saw an episode of Aerial America that featured Charleston and Rainbow Row.

City Market

Spend an afternoon browsing the little shops.

Cupcake Down South

Some of the best cupcakes we've ever had!

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The LIberty Bell

https://www.nps.gov/inde/learn/historyculture/stories-libertybell.htm

If you don't want to stand in line to see the bell, and you don't mind seeing it through a window, just walk around the building.  You'll get a good view.

Red Owl Tavern

After you look a the bell, head over to the famous Red Owl for some food and brews.
