ROAD TRIP 2015

This trip was the 2nd Phase of our trip to cover all 50 States. Phase 1 involved traveling up to Maine.

Our trip started off with a visit to my hometown, Ogdensburg NY.

		We met these cool guys that are hiking the entire trail (from Georgia to Maine) and picking up all the trash they find. They were up to 800 lbs of trash when we met up.		They boys got ice-cream after hiking the trail....

Missouri

I see the Arch!	Missed a turn and accidentally pulled my 33' camper through the narrow streets of downtown St. Louis!	Took a carriage ride.	Some weird ice cream store/museum.	Cozy Dog Drive Through. The original CORN DOG. This place is on Route 66 outside of Springfield IL, not in Missouri.
free parking for the RV at the casino, then take the shuttle train to downtown St. Louis across the river.	Historic Route 66		corn dogs!	A carriage ride through St. Louis.

Ohio

Rachel takes the wheel for the first time in Kamp Kench history!!!	Wouldn't be a road trip without a stop at a brewery!		Great Lakes Brewing Co. flight.
The boys learned how to play poker on this trip. A wonderful way to pass the hours on the road.	By chance, this theater was running the show "Jesus Christ Super Star". Our absolute favorite soundtrack!!! A superb performance. We are actually going back this summer, and hoping to catch another show.	Ashtabula Arts Center. Jesus Christ Superstar"	Audrey 2 from Little Shop of Horrors!!!	I was feeling ill for a couple days, coughing all night, and super weak. Rachel finally made me go to the clinic. I had a fever of 104, and 90% oxygen level. The sent me to the ER. I had managed to get pneumonia in July??? Here is a shot of all my meds...

The Ohio Turnpike has overnight camping hookups for $20/night!!! To bad max length is 40', and we're about 60'.	We saw this Voltage in camping world and we're floored. We thought such a cool camper was out of reach for us....Fast forward a year, and we have an even better camper than the Voltage....A Thunderbolt XLR with TWO decks, not 1.

North Carolina

Beachfront camping with full hookups AND cable TV! Only at Kitty Hawk RV park in the outer banks of NC.	Don't sit on the cacti.	Ghost crab hunt.	Ghost crab hunt.	Ghost crab hunt.

United States Military Academy at West Point, NY

After bootcamp in KY and school in TX, I was then sent to West Point to finish my Surgical Tech training. I was excited to go back and take a tour all these years later.	Cadet Chapel, West Point Military Academy.	cannon	Harvard on the Hudson	New cadets on "R" day.
