Day 15

Made it to Casper Wyoming.  114 miles, and didn't appear to lose any transmission fluid.

I had hoped that maybe it had leaked from the vent and not the seal, but no such luck.

$1,000 later ($60 part, $120 diagnostic fee, the rest was labor!) I have a new front trans seal.

Way better than having to buy a new transmission!

I think the bikes on front rack blocked too much air for the condition we were driving in.  100 degrees, 8% incline, heavyweight.  The bikes are now stores in the camper for the rest of the trip.

We're staying in the Casper Bar-Nunn Koa. There's a pool, and fantastic view of the mountains....not much else.

But there is a cool bar across the street called the hanger.  It's got a lot of old Texaco stuff in it.  My dad used to own a Texaco when i was really little

Heading to a halfway point between here and Salt Lake City tomorrow.
